*Harden hopes to end Rangers' win streak in return*

Oakland (22-16) at Texas (18-20), 3:05 pm EDT
ARLINGTON, Texas (Ticker) -- The Oakland Athletics hope to get
a boost Sunday from the return of Rich Harden as they look to
snap the Texas Rangers' five-game winning streak.
Harden (1-0, 0.82 ERA) who has not pitched since April 2, had
been sidelined with a strain below his throwing shoulder. Prior
to the injury, he turned in two solid outings against the
defending World Series champion Boston Red Sox, allowing one run
in a combined 11 innings.
The Rangers have had a run of outstanding pitching, outscoring
their opponents 27-5 during the winning streak. Texas' shutout
string ended at 33 innings in Saturday's 6-4 victory over
Oakland.
The Rangers look for the series sweep behind Sidney Ponson (2-0,
1.33), who tossed seven stellar frames in his last outing. He
yielded one run and scattered seven hits in Tuesday's 10-1
triumph over the Seattle Mariners.
The Athletics were on a four-game winning streak before dropping
the first two contests of this series.
