SAN DIEGO (Ticker) -- One day after Greg Maddux recorded his
350th career victory, the San Diego Padres look to win their
first series in nearly a month when they close out a three-game
set against the Colorado Rockies.
The Padres, snapped a five-game losing streak with Saturday's

contests. San Diego has not won a series since taking two of
three at Los Angeles from April 11-13.
Adrian Gonzalez blasted a three-run home run Saturday as Maddux
became the ninth pitcher in major league history to reach 350
wins.
Chris Young (2-3, 4.31 ERA) gets the start on Sunday for the
Padres. The 6-10 righthander was roughed up for five runs and nine
hits with two walks and four strikeouts over five innings in
Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Atlanta Braves.
Colorado will counter with rookie Greg Reynolds (NR), who is
making his first career major league start.
The 22-year-old Reynolds was a first-round draft choice by the
Rockies in 2006. At Class AAA Colorado Springs this season,
he posted a 1-2 record with a 4.86 ERA in seven starts.
Colorado has won three of its last four games.
