Broncos sign WR Parker

ENGLEWOOD, Colorado (Ticker) -- The Denver Broncos added to
their depth at wide receiver, signing free agent Samie Parker on
Monday.
Parker, 27, had played the previous four seasons with the Kansas
City Chiefs, posting 24 receptions for 298 yards and two
touchdowns in 15 games - seven starts - last year.
A fourth-round pick in 2004, Parker has compiled 110 catches for
1,529 yards and seven touchdowns in 47 career games - 31
starts. The 5-11 receiver posted back-to-back 500-yard
campaigns in 2005-06.
In other moves, the Broncos waived wide receiver Derrick
Hamilton and tight end Chad Upshaw.
